Job hopped for a payrise. Found out that my previous job id being advertised with a salary offer that i originally was asking for. Wtf. The cheek. They literally could have increased my pay and saved on the cost of rehire and upskilling. and previous job opened a rec for my previous position with salary I was asking for..
Im feeling frustrated and disappointed. I was with the company for 4 years and wanted to be promoted, was constantly told “soon”. Worked my ass off and constantly performed well.
Where’s the logic in this? Is the company nuts?

Sorry to hear bro. Most companies aren’t loyal to you and value you even though you might be. I’d move on but don’t burn ant bridges. Always lookout for your own self. If a good job opportunity comes up with more money, take it!

You learnt the hard way. Always look out for number 1, i.e., yourself. Noone is indispensable at work (unless it’s your or a family business).
Private companies are like that. They’ll trade you in for a newer model 🙄

Dare you to reapply for the job under a different name for the lolz and surprise them when you turn up to the interview 😂
They might have ure changed up the job spec to include more responsibility. It’s in the past, look forward to the future.
