I’m curious, how easy is it to get contracting work on top of my current job? I’m employed. Don’t want my boss to find out. I reckon I can juggle the 2 together during my 8-5pm work window.

I work in IT as a business analyst

It all depends on how much downtime you actually have. Also, is your current job employment? Check to see if there is a restrictive clause to stop you from working other jobs. A lot of tech companies (and others, I think) have this.

How are you going to manage deadlines etc. If you can and your contract doesn’t stop you, go for it I say

Easy to get, hard to juggle if you want a life outside of work. Took a side gig ontop during covid times which was manageable. Gave up side gig after. Miss the money though

Used money saved up to put a down-payment on my condo :)
