I’ve been in my job for 3 years. Think I’ve been doing OK, but recently I felt a bit blah and have been doing the bare minimum expected. Was called up on my performance as a few deadlines slipped by a day or so. My senior manager put me on a performance plan. I’m scared this means I’m going to be let go. Can someone put my anxiety at ease?

        I work in finance in-house.

Some ppl improve and come off the performance plan, but in most cases the company is likely going to let you go. Best to actively look for a new role just in case
