Job hopped for a payrise. Found out that my previous job id being advertised with a salary offer that i originally was asking for. Wtf. The cheek. They literally could have increased my pay and saved on the cost of rehire and upskilling. and previous job opened a rec for my previous position with salary I was asking for..

Im feeling frustrated and disappointed. I was with the company for 4 years and wanted to be promoted, was constantly told “soon”. Worked my ass off and constantly performed well.

Where’s the logic in this? Is the company nuts?
